AI CEILING FAN TRANSITION · TOOLS COMPARED
AI Ceiling Fan Transition: Which Tool to Use, What One Video Costs
The AI ceiling fan transition — also called the ceiling fan outfit change, the fan transition or “under the fan” — is the TikTok edit filmed from straight above someone lying on the floor. A ceiling fan turns between the camera and the person, and every time a blade sweeps across the frame the outfit is a different one. The blade does the job of the wipe, so the face, the pose and the room never move. People filmed it for real earlier in 2026; the version made with AI from a single photo took off in late September 2026. This page compares the five ways to make it and nine sites that sell it, on price per video, free use, watermarks, refunds and how well they keep your face, and has the generator right below.
Make it here: one face photo, four looks
You get one 15-second vertical (9:16) MP4 of one person. The look changes three times, at about 5.4, 9 and 12.9 seconds, each time behind a passing blade. Bring your own outfits — four photos, screenshots or shop product shots, shown in the order you add them — or pick a theme pack: everyday, autumn, night out, Halloween or formal.
From 23 credits (Seedance 2.0 Mini, 480p); the default, Wan 3.0 at 480p, is 67 credits. Credits are taken when the video starts and returned automatically if it fails. Music on or off costs the same.
1. Your face
One person, face clear and toward the camera, good light, no sunglasses. Upper body or full body helps the model match your build.
2. The four looks
Four different outfits, one per look, in the order they should appear. A flat lay, a hanger shot, a screenshot or a shop photo all work; only the clothes and shoes are used, never the model or background in them.
3. Model and quality
The video is made silent, then the scene's own music is laid underneath. Choose Silent if you will add a TikTok or Reels sound yourself.
15 s · 9:16 · one person · MP4
Start with one clear photo of your face.
Photos go to private storage for this video only and are never shown on the site.
Videos made before your first purchase carry a small moving watermark. Any purchase removes it from new videos.

Five ways to make the fan outfit change
Every ceiling fan transition you have seen comes from one of these routes. They differ in what you hand over, who picks the clothes and how much of your face survives.
| Route | What you bring | Who picks the outfits | What happens to your face | Effort |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Film it, edit in CapCut | A phone fixed high above the floor (ceiling mount or tall tripod, never on the fan), the outfits, 4–5 takes | You: real clothes | Your real face; nothing is generated | An afternoon. Each cut has to sit on a blade crossing the lens |
| One-click effect (GoEnhance, Flowlio, Fuzana, Pixazo, Media.io) | One photo | The site, from a fixed set or a theme | Redrawn from your photo in every look; nothing to steer | One upload, a few minutes |
| Outfit-upload generator (Kavel, Retwist, Vidlark, this page) | A face photo plus outfit photos, in order | You, by photo | Your photo is the identity reference; outfit photos only lend clothes | Four or five uploads, a few minutes |
| Swap into a finished clip (Bolly, MakeViral) | One photo | Fixed: the looks of the template clip (MakeViral also takes looks described in words) | Your face is put into an existing video: the firmest identity, the least choice | One upload |
| Prompt a general model (Dreamina, Seedance, Kling, Wan) | A written prompt, optionally a portrait and garment pictures | You, in words | Up to the model and the prompt; the most drift | Trial and error over several paid runs |
Quick pick: if the clothes have to be yours, use an outfit-upload generator. If your face matters most and the outfits don't, a swap into a finished clip holds it best. If you own the outfits and a ceiling fan, filming it costs nothing.

| MakeViral | One photo; a look pack or outfits described in words | 13 s · 480p · the source reel's sound | $20.00 ($39.99 for 450 credits, 168 per video; the $9.99 pack is too small) | No free credits; videos have no watermark | Yes |
| This page | A face photo plus 4 outfit photos in order, or a theme pack | 15 s · 9:16 · 480p to 1080p · the scene's music or silent | $5.00 for one video (the $5 pack covers Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p); about $0.86 a video on Mini at the Pro monthly rate | New accounts get 3 free credits, which is less than the cheapest video (23 credits). Videos made before your first purchase carry a small moving watermark; any purchase removes it from new videos and unlocks the clean copy of earlier ones. | Credits back automatically, including a refused photo |
Dreamina (CapCut) makes it from a written prompt with optional portrait and garment pictures, and Media.io from one photo; neither page gives a per-video price, length or refund rule, so they are not in the table. We found no public CapCut template page for the AI version; CapCut templates for the filmed version need your own clips.
Which route keeps your face, and what still drifts
“Keeps your identity” is on every one of these pages. What decides it is the mechanism, so here is how each route works and where it tends to slip. We have not run the same photo through every site; this is from how each one builds the video.
Swap into a finished clip
Your face and body are put into a video that already exists, so the room, the fan and the clothes never have to be invented. Identity holds well, but the outfits are the template's, and anything that doesn't match your build (hair length, height) can look pasted on.
Photo plus outfit references (this tool)
Here your face photo is the only identity reference and the prompt forbids taking anything from the person in the scene: face, hair, skin tone, glasses or build. Outfit photos only lend clothes and shoes. What can still drift: small prints, logos and text on garments, jewellery, hands during the blade pass, and a hairstyle the photo doesn't show clearly. The pose and timing come from the reference scene, so they stay steady.
One-click effect
The whole video is drawn fresh from your photo and a fixed description. It is the easiest route and the one most likely to give you a slightly different face in look three than in look one, because every look is a new drawing.
Prompt a general model
Most freedom, most drift. Without a reference clip the model has to invent the fan, the timing and the room as well as you, which is why prompt-only results often show extra blades or outfits morphing before the blade arrives.
A photo that holds up
- Face toward the camera, eyes visible, even daylight.
- Upper body or full body, so the model sees your build and hair length.
- No filters, sunglasses or heavy beauty mode; the model copies them.
- Outfit photos on a plain background, whole garment in frame, one outfit per photo.
What one video costs here, by model
Every video is the full 15 seconds. The price depends only on the model and the resolution; outfits, theme and sound don't change it. Dollar figures use the Pro monthly plan ($29 for 780 credits, $0.0372 a credit); packs cost a little more per credit.
| Model | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wan 3.0 | 67 credits · $2.49 | 133 credits · $4.94 | 266 credits · $9.89 |

| Seedance 2.0 | 81 credits · $3.01 | 174 credits · $6.47 | 436 credits · $16.21 |
| Seedance 2.5 | 117 credits · $4.35 | 262 credits · $9.74 | 464 credits · $17.25 |

Which model to choose
- Wan 3.0 (default): the starting choice for this scene; mid-priced, 480p to 1080p.
- Seedance 2.0 Mini: the cheapest, and the only model sign-up credits can pay for; the $5 single pack covers one 480p video. Good for a first test of your photos.
- Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0: more Seedance quality steps; 2.0 goes to 1080p.
- Seedance 2.5: the newest; the provider checks your photos and the scene first and may refuse a photo (credits come back).
- MiniMax H3: 720p only. It always writes its own audio, which is replaced by the scene's music or removed.

Examples: the AI scene and the filmed version
Other creators' and sites' videos, credited and linked, not made on this site. Kavel AI's clip is the exact scene this tool follows; Vân Nhi's TikTok is the filmed version, with the same roll, music and timing in a different room. Your video keeps the first one's room, fan and timing, with your face and outfits.
Ceiling fan transition questions
Is the AI ceiling fan trend the same as the CapCut fan transition or the filmed version?
Same look, different making. The filmed version is real: a phone above someone on the floor, one take per outfit, cut together where a blade covers the lens. CapCut templates for it only arrange clips you already filmed. The AI version needs no fan and no outfits: a model draws the whole overhead shot from a photo, which is why it spread so fast once it appeared in late September 2026.
What song do ceiling fan transition videos use?
There is no single official sound. “Girls on Film” by Duran Duran is one popular pairing, but creators use whatever fits four beats. On this page the clip's own music is laid under the video by default; pick Silent if you'd rather add a sound from the TikTok or Instagram library, which is the safer choice for a public post.
Can I make it on a work laptop without installing anything?
Yes. Everything on this page runs in Chrome, Edge or Safari: add the photos from your files, start the video and download the MP4 when it's ready. Nothing to install, and you can close the tab while it renders.
Is there an iPhone or Android app with a ready-made ceiling fan effect?
You don't need one. This page works in the phone's browser: pick the face photo and outfit screenshots from your camera roll, and save the MP4 to Photos or Files when it finishes. Several of the sites in the table above also work in a mobile browser.
Can I try it without an account or a card?
Not here: a video needs an account, so the photos and the result stay tied to you, but signing up asks for no card. New accounts get 3 free credits, which is less than the cheapest video (23 credits). The $5 single pack adds 24 credits, enough for one Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p video (23 credits).
Can two friends be in one ceiling fan video?
Not with this tool: the scene has one person on the rug, and a second face would blend into the first. Make one video each with matching outfits and post them side by side or one after the other in a Reel.
Is a one-click template better than prompting a video model from scratch?
For most people, yes. A template or reference scene already fixes the camera, the fan and the timing of the swaps, which are the parts prompts get wrong. Prompting from scratch is worth it only if you want a scene no template offers and are ready to pay for several tries.
Where do my photos go, and can I delete them?
Uploads go to private storage tied to your account, are sent to the video model only through short-lived links, and are never shown on the site. We can't promise an automatic deletion date or a provider no-training policy; contact support to have your photos and videos deleted.
