Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not create with DanseAI, how content is moderated, how to report abuse and what happens when the rules are broken.

Last updated: 2026-10-08

DanseAI ("we", "us") is an entertainment video tool. You upload two photos and our AI video models recreate a fixed, light-hearted dance-meme template with them. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everything you upload to, generate with, download from or share out of DanseAI. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using DanseAI you agree to follow it.

1. What DanseAI is, and is not

  • DanseAI makes short, playful template videos for fun. Every video follows the same preset scene, choreography and soundtrack. You cannot write your own prompt or choose a different scene.
  • DanseAI is not a face swap tool, a voice cloning tool or a general-purpose video generator. It does not clone or synthesise anyone's voice: the only audio is the template's soundtrack.
  • Every video is AI-generated. Videos made on free accounts carry a visible, moving watermark.

2. Scope

This Policy covers:

  • Uploaded images: the photos you submit for each video.
  • Generated videos: the MP4 files DanseAI produces, including how you use and share them.
  • Other submissions: support tickets, reports and any other text or files you send us.

3. Content standards and prohibited categories

You must not use DanseAI to create, upload or share any of the following six categories of content:

  1. Sexual / NSFW content: nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material, or photos uploaded for that purpose.
  2. Violent / gory content: graphic violence, injury, blood, self-harm, or content that threatens, glorifies or incites violence.
  3. Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or harasses people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic, including hateful symbols.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM): any sexualised depiction of a minor, any content that exploits or endangers children, and photos of minors uploaded without the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation: videos of a real person made without that person's consent; videos of public figures, celebrities or politicians; and any video used to impersonate, defame, harass, mislead, commit fraud or pass off AI content as real footage.
  6. Copyright / trademark infringement: photos you do not have the right to use, third-party logos or trademarks used to imply endorsement, and any use of generated videos that infringes someone else's intellectual property, likeness or privacy rights.

3.1 Zero tolerance

The following lead to immediate account termination and, where required by law, a report to the relevant authorities (such as NCMEC or local law enforcement):

  • Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving a minor.
  • Non-consensual sexual or intimate content depicting a real person.
  • Content that promotes or supports terrorism, violent extremism or mass violence.

3.2 Other prohibited behaviour

  • Uploading a photo of anyone who has not agreed to appear in the video.
  • Removing or hiding the watermark, or presenting a generated video as real, unedited footage.
  • Using generated videos for scams, spam, political disinformation or misleading advertising.
  • Trying to bypass our safety measures, for example by resubmitting a rejected photo with small changes.
  • Automated or bulk generation, reselling access, or abusing free credits.

3.3 Your responsibilities

  • Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use, of people (or pets) whose owners have agreed.
  • When you post a video, keep the watermark if it has one and label it as AI-generated where the platform allows.
  • You are responsible for how you use and share the videos you generate.

4. Content moderation

We use several layers of moderation:

  • Fixed template, no free-text prompts. Users can only supply two photos. The scene, actions and soundtrack are fixed by us, which removes the most common route to harmful output.
  • Automated screening. Uploaded photos and generated videos are checked by the built-in safety systems of the video models we use (Seedance and MiniMax). Requests flagged as sexual, violent, child-unsafe or otherwise unsafe are refused, no video is produced, and the credits are returned automatically.
  • Human review. Every report we receive is reviewed by a person. We also spot-check generations and investigate accounts with unusual usage, such as repeated rejected uploads.
  • Private storage. Uploads and videos are stored under random, unlisted file names and are never shown in public galleries or examples without the creator's permission.

5. Reporting

If you see a DanseAI video that breaks this Policy, or a video that uses your image without consent, please tell us:

  • Email: support@danseai.com. Put "Report" in the subject line and include the video link or file, why it breaks this Policy and, if it concerns you, how we can confirm you are the person shown.
  • In-site support: use the support button at the bottom right of any page (sign-in required) to open a ticket.

Reports are handled confidentially. We do not tell the reported user who filed a report. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves lead to action against the reporting account.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the product or the law changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice through the service before they take effect. Continuing to use DanseAI after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
